The woman at the gate was very friendly and helpful. The presenter on the boat was very knowledgeable. Very well done.

Zumaia Flysch Boat Tour

We'll meet at the chosen time on Txomin Agirre Street in Zumaia. There, we'll board a boat to sail the waters of the Bay of Biscay in search of the Basque Coastal Geopark.

In this hour-long boat tour, we'll enjoy a pleasant journey while contemplating these curious rock formations. But what makes this place so special? Flysch has been a very important geological reference point for more than 50 years, as its composition provides us with information about the formation of our planet more than 50 million years ago. Fascinating, right?

After enjoying this boat trip around Zumaia and learning about the history of the Flysch, we'll return to the meeting point, where we'll end the activity, 50 minutes later.
